Since my last blog

It is so exciting to visit the site and see the progress that the builders are making. It’s wonderful to hear that residents enjoy their daily walk going to see how the build has progressed.

The steels are now all in place and brickwork has begun. You can see a floor appearing!

This is Barry from the building company Edgar Taylor. 

Barry really enjoys meeting people when they stop to admire the building progress. 

Do say hello if you see him – he loves to share how the build is going.

It has been very hot working on site during the heatwave, but workers have come early and left early to catch the cooler part of the day so good progress has still been made.

What next?

Look out for the roof going on and the structural shell being put in place.
